OneMango Desktop 1.0.131
This build rebuilds AI Notepad around the meeting note, with a floating recording bar, quick notes, Save to Notepad from chat, and fixes that stop meeting audio and transcript loss.
New
- Send to a chat shows a preview of what will post and who will see it, and the Send button names the chat.
- Press Control+Option+N on a Mac (Ctrl+Alt+N on Windows), or choose Quick Note in the tray, to jot a note from any app; closing it files it in Notepad, and Keep on screen leaves it beside your work.
- Any chat message can be saved to Notepad as a new note, or added to one of your notes, with who sent it, when, and a link back to the message.
- You can rename a note by clicking its title on the note page.
- The next meeting on your calendar now shows at the top of the Notepad list, and Take notes joins the call and starts its note in one click.
- You can choose a note's template before the meeting starts, and it is remembered for that recurring meeting.
- "Copy consent message" puts a short notice for the meeting chat on your clipboard, and is asked for before notes start when your organization requires it.
- Record meeting is the first item in Notepad's New menu, in the menu bar or tray, and on Ctrl+Alt+R (⌃⌥R on a Mac).
- When a call seems over — the call app closed, 15 quiet minutes, or the computer slept — Notepad asks "Call ended — stop and write notes?" and stops on its own after a minute.
- While you record a meeting and the call covers the app, a small bar stays beside the call with the timer, both sides' sound levels, Pause and Stop.
- Type a line in the floating bar and press Enter to add it to the meeting's note as a bullet.
- The floating bar warns you when your microphone is muted or the other people can't be heard, with a Fix that opens the right settings.
- When a call seems over, the floating bar asks "Call ended — stop and write notes?" with its countdown.
- "Copy consent message" is in the floating bar's menu.
- A "Ready to take notes" check in Notepad's first run and settings downloads the transcription model and fixes microphone and call-audio permissions in place.
- You can edit the AI's notes like any text, and a line you change becomes yours.
- Each AI line shows the time it came from; clicking it opens the transcript at that moment.
- You get a notification when the notes for a meeting you recorded are ready, with how many action items are yours.
- Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K) in a note to add or edit a link, and ⌘Enter (Ctrl+Enter) to tick a checklist item.
- Drag a note onto a notebook, or choose Move to notebook…, to file it; notebooks can be renamed and deleted, and deleting one keeps its notes.
- Right-click a note or a notebook for its actions, including renaming a note in place.
- Notepad opens where you left it — the same notebook, search, sort and open note.
- Move through notes with the arrow keys, open with Enter, delete with Delete, and press ⌘/ (Ctrl+/) to see Notepad's shortcuts.
- When a meeting's notes are ready, the note offers to post them to the meeting's own chat, with a preview first.
- Action items show when they are already in their owner's tasks, and ticking either one ticks both.
- A task sent to you from someone's meeting notes appears in chat as a card you can mark done or open in Tasks.
- Notepad settings can turn off sending action items to their owners' tasks.
- Ask AI opens beside the note, about this note, its notebook or all your notes, and Cmd/Ctrl+J opens it from any note.
- Copy link in a note's menu copies a link that opens the note in the desktop app for anyone who can see it.
- The summary and each heading in a meeting's notes now have Rewrite: Shorter, Longer, Simpler or With my instructions.
Improved
- When part of a meeting could not be transcribed, the transcript now says so at that point instead of running the words on either side together.
- Notes you type during a call are kept as a note even when nothing was transcribed, and you're told to check your microphone.
- A new note opens instantly and saves in the background.
- Quick meeting note works offline and keeps what you typed if the connection drops.
- The notes list shows when it is loading, and when it can't load it says so with Retry.
- A recording that won't load says so on its player, with Retry.
- My Action Items shows your items straight away, opens an item's note beside the list, and Space ticks the selected item.
- Send to a chat lists your chats with recent ones first and a search, and nothing is chosen until you pick one.
- When your chats can't be loaded, Send to a chat says so and offers Retry.
- Notes show one set of status words — Recording, Saving, Writing notes, Needs attention — and finished notes no longer carry a "Completed" pill.
- AI Notepad calls your notes notes, including "Untitled note", "Share note" and "Delete note".
- After you stop a capture, its window says "Saving…" and the confirmation says "Note saved.".
- Searching Notepad shows matching notes from this computer as you type, and adds the server's results without moving what is already on screen.
- A note's tools — copy, edit, history and AI rewrites — now sit in one row that appears when you point at or tab into a section.
- Section headings on a note read like ordinary headings, and the line under the title shows the date, length and notebook, with the notebook as a link.
- A typed note shows its date, and its title when needed, above the text, and headings in a note have room above them.
- The section bar on a note works with the arrow keys and always highlights the section you are looking at.
- When you have no notes yet, AI Notepad explains what it does, offers your next meeting with Take notes, and lets you start a new note.
- The meeting detection pop-up follows the app's light or dark look and theme colours, and names the meeting or the call app it found.
- Notepad's settings are now in Notepad itself, with the transcription language and default template added.
- A meeting you record opens as its note in Notepad, so you type in the note you will read afterwards while the meeting is recorded.
- The transcript opens beside the note, live while recording and whole afterwards, with search and Copy.
- Calendar meetings ask to take notes right at their start time.
- If a meeting cannot be saved yet, its notes and transcript stay on this computer until Retry saves them.
- "Record voice note" is now called "Voice note".
- The transcription model's download shows under Record meeting and Take notes.
- A meeting that can't be transcribed yet says why in its note, with Download or Open settings, instead of a warning line in the transcript.
- A meeting's notes read as one document: your own headings and bullets with the AI's additions under them, in a lighter colour until you edit them.
- While notes are being written, the note says which step it is on, and offers Retry if it takes longer than usual.
- Rewrite and Redo notes replace the separate AI actions, and they ask before replacing anything you edited.
- Meeting notes open faster.
- Everything in Notepad's New menu, and a file dropped on the list, is filed in the notebook you have open.
- Search results show the matching line, highlighted, and say where it was found.
- A note you have opened before opens at once from the copy on this computer, and the latest version fills in behind it.
- Notes next to the one you are on load ahead of time as you move through the list with the arrow keys or rest the pointer on a row.
- The notes list and an open note no longer redraw or reload when nothing in them has changed.
- On a narrow window the recording player becomes a slim bar at the top of the note instead of disappearing.
- Rewriting a section no longer holds up the note: only that section shows “Rewriting…” while you keep reading and editing.
- If you edit a section while it is being rewritten, your text is kept and the rewrite waits in Version history, where you can apply it.
- A section whose rewrite fails says so and offers Retry.
- Meeting notes now appear part by part as they are written, starting with the summary.
- The next-meeting strip and the meeting reminder now say who the meeting is with.
- A rewrite that is slow, conflicts or fails now says so instead of quietly clearing.
Fixed
- AI Notepad on Windows now transcribes the other people on a call.
- AI Notepad on Windows no longer loses parts of what you say during a call.
- Recording a meeting no longer loses minutes of the meeting when the connection to the transcription service stalls.
- In a meeting transcript, a speaker letter such as “Speaker A” now always means the same person.
- The last words of a meeting are no longer cut off when you stop recording.
- Meeting transcripts no longer show “Ask AI” as something someone said.
- The notes list no longer reorders itself after you open a note, and notebooks appear with the list.
- AI Notepad's messages, such as note deleted, restored or not saved, appear in your language.
- The calendar and screen recording permission prompts name the app instead of "Nutrio".
- Pausing a recording no longer restarts it; Resume picks up at once.
- Pictures inside pasted content are added to the note as images instead of making it too large to save.
- Meeting reminders no longer appear for calendar events with only you in them.
- Typing in the notes while a section is being rewritten no longer undoes the rewrite.
- The notes list no longer says "0 notes" while it is still loading.
- A note typed into the moment it was made is saved straight away, not when it is next closed.
- Searching right after switching lists in Notepad shows the search's results, not the list you switched to.
- On a recorded meeting's notes, the recording's player sits in a bar under the title, and Play and Retry work again.
